What Are FRBs?

Fast Radio Bursts are mysterious intense bursts of radio waves that last only milliseconds. We first detected them in 2007 and still don't fully understand them.

Where Do They Come From?

Most FRBs seem to come from distant galaxies. Some repeat, meaning they're not one-time events. They might be from magnetars or neutron stars.
