Beyond Neptune lies the Kuiper Belt, a donut-shaped region of icy bodies similar to the asteroid belt but much, much larger. Pluto is the most famous Kuiper Belt Object.

Thousands of Objects

There are probably hundreds of thousands of icy objects in the Kuiper Belt, each at least 60 miles across. New Horizons flew past one in 2019!
